We will overcome – together! This team-based support build focuses on the power of friendship, the gift of wisdom, and the blessing of supernatural luck.
Despite your affinity for good fortune, you will be very squishy, so make sure to stay stocked up on Stimpaks and keep your Power Armor in good condition. Legendary armor will be of great benefit, especially Unyielding. A couple pieces of Life Saving armor may also be, well, life saving, and can free up a point of Agility by replacing Born Survivor. Most importantly, remember to rely on your friends!
Customize perks based on your play style/weapon of choice. Due to low Endurance, ranged weapons are highly recommended. Snipers will obviously fare much better than CQ players, so I’ve spec’d this build to focus on rifles. If “run n’ gun” is more your cup of tea, you can put fewer points into perception in favor of Agility and take perks appropriate to your choice of handgun/SMG.
If you really want a melee build, however, you could shift a few points around here and there to buff your Strength. For example, putting points from Perception and Agility into Strength instead, then taking the appropriate perks and mutations (Healing Factor, Twisted Muscles, etc.). Alternatively, focusing on higher Agility might work in your favor; get the Speed Demon mutation and channel your inner Muhammad Ali. If you are health management savvy, Evasive will help you capitalize even further on your low-HP bonuses. Whatever your decision, if you plan on using mutations then you’ll need to take Starched Genes for the greatest benefit, but I leave the choice of perk substitution up to you.
At 51+, you can focus on perks to improve your DR and crafting/repair bonuses.
Lastly, thank you so much for reading! This is my very first build, and I hope you like it. I am open to tips and constructive criticism, but I ask that you please be polite in your response.
May you always be in good company as you explore Appalachia!
