Solo Sneak, Vats and Snipe PvE Build

This is a solo build that focuses on PvE with non-automatic rifles and lots of Vats. I give more ephasis on the damage output and crit change than defence.
Strength perk is for carring junk instead of melee resistance since you will be 80% of the time out of reach.
Damage output : 75%.
Armor Penetration : 36%.
Stagger Chance : 9%.
Critical Change is high plus you only spend 55% of the critical meter. That means that you will be able to crit as often as possible.
Damage & Energy Resistances…

Old man with a gun

Just a build that I’ve settled on, based on personal preferences and the fact that I’ll likely be forced to play mostly solo.
The general intention here is to be flexible, able to access any area, and have decent survivability. Decided to focus on a run and gun pistol play style, with a couple perks enhancing V.A.T.S. in order to clear out groups of trash mobs.
I know a lot of folks would argue that you could swap out the lock picking and hacking perks on the fly, which you surely c…

Workshop Mule – Solo

This build is a hoarders dream. The build is for players who want to take advantage of resources around the map. A good strategy is to place your C.A.M.P near an enemy and lead them back to it, where you can let turrets deal with them.

Heavy Gunner with Power Armor

Just some idea for Power Armor build. Since there is a Stabilized perk exists, I decided to focus on Heavy Guns.
STR: Boost our heavy guns.
PER: Just a placeholder perk.
END: Sun Kissed and Photosynthetic are only work when you are out of combat, so I dont see a point to put 2 points into it.
CHA: I don’t think Bodyguards are good for duo. Philanthropist may be good alternative. For solo build you may take Lone Wanderer.
INT: Antibreak perks are the must. And even with Luck skill Luck of …

Rebuilder of Civilization (Support)

This is an endgame build for roleplayers.
You represent the re-emergence of civilization. You barter and craft a lot, and when it comes to a fight you always fight in a team with the best weapons money can buy.
With both maximum Charisma and maximum Intelligence, you will never want for resources. You can build powerful weapons and can afford expensive ammo. You should also be able to afford large amounts of explosives and combat drugs for yourself and your teammates. You can use your 15 Charis…

End-Game Rifle/Pistol Expert

Here’s my attempt at an end-game rifle/pistol build.
There are obviously some utility perks you can switch out at your discretion.
Any and all feedback is appreciated!

VATs build (Rifles) – Glass Canon Build

This is the first build I’m going to try.  I prefer stealth sniping at long ranges and swapping to VATS spam at medium to short ranges.  At 15 Perception I’m not sure yet if VATs will be viable at longer ranges.  Time will tell.  If so this build could be broken.   Here are my thoughts on the build:
Weaknesses – This build is a glass canon.  Solo you rely on Stealth attacks so Power Armor may not be viable.  This means you will have little health and little armor.  If you like…

Shotgunner tank

Strong tank with shotgun.
15 Strength: 45% less damage from melee attacks, 60 Damage resist. Shotgun and bashing damage.
3 Perception: Accuracy for shotguns. May switch to picklock when needed.
8 Endurance: 50 Damage and Energy resist. Reduced damage to limbs for melee fight vs stronge beasts.
4 Charisma: Reduce damage and and faster AP regen.
5 Intellect: Guns breaks slower. May switch to any other int perk when needed.
15 Agility: 45 Damage and Energy resist. Almost unbreakable armor, faster …

Close family build

That is the pure support build. You just follow your close friends or family members, keep them alive and loot everything.
With 15 CHA you should share Gunsmith perk with them, so they will have 5 more perk points.
For First Aid perk don’t forget to split all your stimpacks.
Get all mutations.
Use shotguns and act like a tank if you have a lot of mobs around.

Reliable Starter Build

I found this to a be a reliable character setup that helps a lot with movement and survivability. Maxing out Lead Belly early helps deal with hunger, thirst, and subsequent radiation from consuming most food and drink  items. In addition there’s less need for stimpaks as food and drinks become effective heal items. Lone Wanderer is a no brainer when it comes to solo play, providing damage mitigation and sprint boost via ap regen, which stacks well with Action Boy. Pharmacist is maxed out …

Outdated

This guide is bad and you shouldnt use it.
The biggest enemy of the game is weight. Loot, guns, junk, stims, everything takes up weight, and the idea of this build is to max our your weight capacity so you can focus on playing the game rather than playing the keep or don’t keep game. This build starts off weaker than other builds but ends up in a strong position for end game.
SPECIAL
S: 15 Obviously, focus on the weight perks, this precludes the shotgun and heavy gun perks as there’…
