This is a concept I’m working on for the character I’m starting from scratch for Wastelanders. The idea is to have a build that is a power-leveling, hardcore survivor that runs Heavy Guns and Power Armor. Early game focuses on survivability and really kicks into gear at level 32.

This is my current main toon, originally a Mutant VATS sniper build, morphed into this crazy Berserker monstrosity. This buildout is tweaked for using a full auto rifle with 25% less ap cost legendary perk so that you can just crank away with practically unlimited AP.

This is something I’m trying out with my newest character: a melee build with ranged AOE (grenades) and a lot of independence/survivability. You won’t need to carry as much food and your armor and weapons will break far less than other builds.

This particular build is a shot (haw haw haw) at creating a pistol build that’s not just “lul max damage”. It adds in some QoL perks so that you’re not constantly worrying about having to scrap junk in the field every 5 minutes…or having to drink 10 purified waters every 5 minutes.
